Copper Leaves

I recently learned how to make copper leaves, which is something I've wanted to try for a while so I'm super excited about it! It turned out to be pretty simple and a lot of fun to make. All you do is cut the copper into a leafy shape, like this:


You then fold the leaf symmetrically from point to point and hammer along the edges so it looks like this (the curve will happen naturally):


You then anneal and unfold the leaf:

(I learned after doing this that holding a flaming torch in one hand while taking pictures with the other hand is not a good idea.)

End result:
